Happy new year King Township! Looking back 2018 was an outstanding and memorable year. I am extremely grateful for the ongoing support and partnership from our community and look forward to working hard on your behalf in 2019.

There are plenty of planning and improvements underway for the new year. I am excited about the completion and continued investment in major infrastructure projects aimed to improve walkability and traffic flow in our communities. King Township engineering staff continues to fine tune the designs for the reconstruction of the 10th Concession, 15th Side Road and 8th Concession connecting to King Road. Public meetings have been held and I’m pleased to see this project moving forward. 2019 will also see the completion of design and build for the Alf Budweth Park in the Tribute subdivision as well as continued investment in our facilities. We are making strides towards the completion of Phase 2 sewers, improvements in broadband access and connectivity and investing in core revitalization.

  1. Utilize SpeaKING, King’s new online engagement site that allows you to contribute your ideas and feedback on Township matters important to you.
